ShowHype: hype it up!

The fourth season of ‘The Great Indian laughter Challenge’ is back on Star One, and this time matching laughter for laughter with Navjot Singh Sidhu as judge will be Shatrughan Sinha. It would be a great political combination as both Singh and Sinha are the workers of same BJP party.

The veteran actor Sinha replaces previous judge Shekhar Suman, who won’t be able to continue with the show given his prior engagements with other shows at the moment. This time, Reliance Mobile is partnering with the programme, which would be aired from May 2008, though a definite date has not been finalised yet.

Ravi Menon, EVP & General manager, Star One, said, “‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ has pioneered humour on Indian television and also discovered the best comic talent. Back with a brand new jury boasting of none other than veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha and witty Navjot Singh Sindu, all new look and fresh anchor, we are all geared up to take on Season 4.”

“We are very proud of the fact that this show has given wholesome entertainment that has been appreciated by the audiences over the years. This season again we hope to present the best talent and match up with the expectations of the audiences.” Menon adds.
