PHOONK completes 50 days
Ram Gopal Varma may have moved on to his next project but his horror flick PHOONK continues to scare the audience. The film has just completed 50 days at the box office over the weekend gone by.
Before its release, not many were expecting PHOONK to make much of an impression at the box office, let aside take a good opening. However, aided by some superb marketing and promotion by its makers, PHOONK proved the cynics wrong as it took a bumper opening at the box office with superb collections all over. Tout direction by Ram Gopal Varma further helped the cause that allowed PHOONK to continue scoring at the box office.
Now as the film looks at making an exit from the theaters after a satisfactory run which fetched it close to 11 crores from the box office, it is gearing up for a DVD release soon.
